Das MediNetz Düsseldorf vermittelt medizinische Hilfe für Menschen ohne gültige Aufenthaltspapiere. Dazu bieten wir wöchentlich zwei offene Sprechstunden an, immer Dienstags von 19 Uhr bis 20:30 Uhr und Donnerstags von 14 bis 16 Uhr. Eine Anmeldung ist nicht notwendig.
Viele Flüchtlinge und Migrant*innen in Deutschland haben keinen Zugang zu medizinischer Versorgung, weil sie keine gültigen Papiere mehr besitzen.
Manche leben seit vielen Jahren hier, verfügen über Wohnraum und Arbeit und ein soziales Umfeld, allerdings ohne jegliche soziale oder rechtliche Absicherung. Das wird besonders zum Problem, wenn eine Krankheit eintritt oder eine Frau schwanger wird.
Zwar besteht ein rechtlicher Anspruch auf eine Notfallversorgung, aber aus Angst vor der Meldung an die Ausländerbehörde und der drohenden Abschiebung, bleibt der Zugang zur medizinischen Versorgung oft verwehrt.
Beim STAY! Medinetz wird in einem Gespräch festgestellt, welche medizinische Notlage besteht und durch welche Fachärzt*nnen eine Behandlung am besten begonnen werden sollte. Anschließend erfolgt die Vermittlung an die Ärztinnen und Ärzte, die sich bereit erklärt haben, Flüchtlinge und Migrant*innen anonym zu behandeln.
Die Beratung ist in jedem Fall vertraulich. Bei Bedarf versuchen wir Übersetzer*innen zu vermitteln.

MediNetz Düsseldorf is an organization which provides medical services to people without papers. We offer weekly consultations, which take place every Tuesday from 7pm until 8.30pm and every Thursday from 2 pm until 4 pm. Bookings are not essential.
Without documents, many refugees and immigrants cannot access medical care in Germany. Some have lived here for many years, have a permanent home of residence, employment and a social network within the local community, but nonetheless possess no form of social or legal security. This often leads to problems when these individuals become ill or when a women falls pregnant.
Of course, all individuals possess the legal right to receive emergency medical assistance. However, in the case of illegal immigrants, the threat of being discovered by authorities and subsequently deported is so large that accessing medical care remains essentially unfeasible.
When a new patient seeks our assistance, a preliminary interview takes place in order to determine which medical service is best suited to the initiation of their treatment. The patient can then be transferred into the care of the appropriate doctors, who are advised to keep refugee and immigrant patients anonymous and will provide their services at no or minimal cost.
Translators will be provided when required. All consultations will remain confidential.

Medinetz est une organisation qui facilite l’accès aux soins de santé des sans papiers. Nous offrons des consultations sans réservation tous les mardis de 19h à 20h30 et jeudi de 14h à 16h.
Sans documents, beaucoup de refugés et d’immigrants ne peuvent pas accéder aux soins de santé en Allemagne. Quelques-uns, qui ont vécu ici depuis plusieurs années, ont une résidence, un emploi et un réseau social, mais n’ont quand même pas d’assurance sociale et légale. Cela crée des problèmes, particulièrement quand ces personnes tombent malades ou enceintes.
Il est vrai qu’ils ont droit aux soins d’urgence. Mais ces personnes ne se font tout de même pas soigner de crainte d’être découvert par les autorités, ce qui pourrait mener directement à leur expulsion.
Un entretien initial avec les nouveaux patients clarifie la forme et le bon moment du traitement dont ils ont besoin. Ensuite le patient peut être adressé à des médecins qui ont accepté de traiter des patients sans papiers de manière anonyme et à frais minimaux.
